Proud to be Human - 50 Years of Space Flight

Well I am, all the achievements we had had since eternity, the process of evolving from a stone age barbaric to technically advanced, scientifically sane group of societies is amazing.
Today we should congratulate ourselves for one such occasion which can be considered as one of the greatest Landmark of entire human existance.
Today marks the 50th anniversary of Human Spaceflight.
On 12th April, 1961, Russian cosmonaut  Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space, making a 108-minute orbital flight in his Vostok 1 spacecraft.
Gagarin was the first human to enter outer space and see what no one else had ever witnessed – our commonly shared Earth as a planet and beautiful blue globe with no borders.
Lets commemorate this day as when we humans, escaped the constrains that held us firmly on this planet so long.
